Football Meets Fashion

The divisional playoffs have commenced. Although my team is not in it (yes, I'm bitter), I'm still watching. Now football is stereotyped as a man's sport, but what about us ladies who have a love for the pigskin too? I'm the first to admit that I am a total tomboy when it comes to football and not for the obvious reason that a bunch of cute men in tight pants are running around chasing each other. It's an intense and exciting sport to watch. But just because football is a macho, rugged sport doesn't mean us female fans have to look macho too.

Female spirit wear has certainly come a long way with celebrity collaborations with the NFL to offer more feminine apparel. Adding rhinestones, sequins, glitter, and pink to everything certainly does add a feminine touch to manly looking jerseys, but for the fashion conscious, it's not enough.

Is there a law against mixing football spirit wear with fashion trends? Didn't think so. So why not take this fashion crisis into our own hands and make football fashion more feminine!!! Are you with me ladies?!
