Saturday Night Staples

01 March 2014

Welcome to the weekend! It's time to let your hair down and have some fun. Making plans is the easy part, it's finding an outfit that's the real killer. I like to have some staple pieces in my wardrobe for different occasions so when you get the last minute call to go somewhere, you can be ready in a hurry. I've put together some looks below depending on where you're going. Me personally, I like to get entire outfits from my favorite shops if possible because everything arrives at once. It's so annoying when I have an outfit planned out and it's arriving from different shops. One gets here before the other and throws off the whole look. So frustrating.
On that note, tell me what you think of these looks?
Share your outfits and favorite boutiques with me! I always love being introduced to new styles.

I love me some fringe. This is something I'd wear to a concert or festival. Fringe is really fun and casual and paired with some skinnies and these gorgeous sling back wedges, I'm suddenly getting the urge to go buy some concert tickets and rock this look.

I am swooning over this look. Windsor is one of my favorite stores. I was first introduced to this store when I was in search of a junior prom dress and I've been hooked every since. These floral lace shorts are so versatile and be dressed up with this bow back sweater and pumps for a lunch date or day in the city. To make this look more casual, I'd go with a solid white t-shirt, cardigan or denim jacket and some flats. And this purse...definitely a spring essential.

The details of this dress are amazing. Lace, ruffles, a cinched waist...what more do you need?! This is something I'd wear on a date. I love black dresses because you can incorporate color with your shoes and accessories. The slingback wedges are the perfect crimson red to add color to the dress, but not take away any attention.

Due to the versatility of a black dress, I could see myself wearing this number to a variety of places like church, Sunday brunch, and graduations. It's all about how you accessorize it.

Crop tops are a fun way add sass to an outfit without going too overboard. Paired with jeans, you're not compromising your comfort for style. Depending on my plans, I'd add heels to this look if I were going out to dinner, a swanky lounge in NY, or dancing with the girls.

If the atmosphere is more casual, I'd definitely go for comfort all the way with some combat or riding boots.
