Fairy Tale Fashion for the Modern Day Princess: LC Lauren Conrad's Cinderella Collection

16 March 2015

Lauren Conrad's Cinderella collection is the ultimate throwback to my childhood with a modern twist. Although I haven't seen the remake of the movie yet, I feel like the fairy godmother has fluttered into my computer and added some of the most elegant clothing to my Kohl's shopping cart. She knows me so well! (If only she could have fluttered into my room and added those clothes to my closet!)

This enchanted clothing line is all about making you feel like a princess in tons of tulle, floral prints, and organza. Powder pinks and blues and creams are the central colors of this collection which invoke a regal feel to the designs. The line couldn't have launched at a better time with spring almost here. Tulle skirts paired with graphic, feminine tees is one look I'm super excited to start rocking. LC Lauren Conrad currently has four tulle skirts in the Cinderella collection. My only problem with this is which to wear first?! I can't make up my mind on which is my favorite.

Another personal favorite is the foil graphic tee. When you mention Cinderella, the first thing that comes to my mind is "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo," aka my favorite song from the Disney movie. I love how LC styled it with the tulle skirt to bring out your inner princess. I'd also pair this tee with white destroyed denim and gold pumps or wedges for a effortlessly chic spring look.

The maxi dresses are perfect for spring or summer weddings. Maxi dresses are a pretty casual clothing option, but LC added subtle floral designs which take the dresses to another level. Definitely wedding guest appropriate attire.

  1. I love tulle skirts. The first in pastel blue is my favorite. The top Lauren Conrad is wearing with the glass slipper print is so charming.
