Maxi Monday

 

 

 The maxi dress is one article of clothing that doesn't receive as much credit as it deserves. Long sleeve, short sleeve, tank top, or strapless, this dress comes in a variety of styles suitable for all seasons. However, summer is my favorite time to rock the floor length dress. What's the summertime secret you ask? I'll tell you only if you promise to keep it between us...promise? Ok, well here it is.

Waxing is expensive and time consuming and shaving everyday can be a hassle. Maxi dresses cover that leg stubble and are still cool and comfortable.

 

Shaving not your problem? Just looking for stylish comfort? The length of maxis cover what you want or flaunt what you got.

Especially in this summer heat, your legs sweat and stick together and cause great discomfort. But in short dresses, you have to be ladylike and keep your legs crossed...no free shows. Maxi dresses allow you sit however you want whether it be Indian style or uncrossed. Slits on the side show off your legs, strapless tops show off you arms/shoulders, and belted or cinched waists show off your curves.

 

Who said maxi dresses had to be boring? Layer it with a cardigan or denim jacket for a casual look or pair with some wedges or accenting jewelry for a more sophisticated appearance.
