Trend Alert: Kimonos

One of my favorite spring/summer trends is the kimono. I feel like I'm channeling my inner geisha without getting stared at from people for looking like I'm wearing my Halloween costume a little early. A lot of the kimonos on the market now are modernized, meaning they don't look like the traditional oriental kimono that might come to mind. Florals, fringe, and fluorescents are amongst the top designs this trend has been seen in.

There are literally so many ways you can style a kimono.

I love to double my kimonos as swimsuit cover ups. It saves me money and provides me with tons of outfit options. This past weekend I took advantage of the gorgeous weather and got my tan on, but of course had to look fabulous doing so. Here's two new kimonos I just got and styled as cover ups.
